Business Process Improvement and Process Mapping Training Course (2 Day In-company)
Organisations deliver benefits to their clients through processes, not through departments, and developing integrated and inefficient end-to-end processes is a key requirement of business success in the long term.
Instead of allowing people to be locked into their specific functional, the process approach cuts across functions allowing multi-functional project teams to be formed.
The result is a straightforward but powerful approach to Process Improvement that can, and does, work in organisations with 10 staff to those with tens of thousands.
This two-day workshop will enable those attending to be able to apply a practical approach to business process improvement. This two-day workshop is non-residential.
Timings: 9 am to 4.30 pm on each day. The final day will finish earlier for smaller groups of delegates.
Our small group training courses allow for plenty of time to discuss specific scenarios for your business.
We also offer the option of virtual training/coaching.
Booking confirmations: We will email you to confirm receipt of your booking within five working days. A confirmation invoice will be issued to either request payment by either BACS or confirmation of payment if you have made a card payment already through our Stripe Account. This will be issued within five working days. Also detailed joining instructions are normally released by email at least seven working days prior to the date of the course.

This two-day workshop provides a thought-provoking and informal introduction to business improvement. The course will help you identify the problems with departmental “silos”, and will support the development of process thinking. The Process Improvement Workshop is a lively simulation for those new to process thinking. Not only is it great teambuilding, but it will help develop some of the key skills necessary for organisational improvement.
The simulation is interspersed with various input sessions on key aspects of process improvement:
- Understanding the process and the principles of improvement
- End to end process mapping and swim lane diagrams
- A structure for process improvement looking at different methodologies
- Creative approaches to problem solving
- Behaviour and communication styles towards your customers
- Working together as one team
- Leadership and change management
- Action planning and reflection
