Terms and Conditions
Methods of Payment
BACS - We prefer payment by BACS and we will send you a confirmation invoice upon receipt of your order with full payment details.
Cheque - please ensure your cheque is made payable to Ripley Training Limited and posted to Ripley Training Ltd, Knaresborough Technology Park, Manse Lane, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, HG5 8LF.
Card Payments - we can take your payment by most debit / credit cards online through our website for scheduled courses at the time of your booking. We can also email you a payment link to our Stripe Account to enable you to make a payment by card for a scheduled course or in-company training.
Payment is due once a booking has been made and therefore your place(s)/in-company course date(s) will remain provisional until we have received full payment for your place(s)/course date(s). We reserve the right to refuse access onto our scheduled courses and to release the place(s) if payment is not received within seven days of the booking. We also reserve the right to refuse attendance on the course if the payment is not received and cleared before the commencement of the course. In the case of our in-company training your preferred date(s) could be released to another client if prompt payment is not forthcoming.
We reserve the right to charge a late payment charge calculated at the rate of 8% per year accruing daily from the date the invoice becomes due for payment and a fixed administration charge of £50 plus vat.
Any special payment arrangements must be agreed in advance of the course booking being accepted.
Cancellations
Cancellations and transfers will only be accepted if made in writing/email and received at least four weeks before the start of any schedule course and two weeks for in-company training. Later cancellations cannot be accepted and the full payment will remain payable.
We reserve the right to improve the learning outcomes and format of our courses for the benefit of our customers without notice to the customer. Also we reserve the right to change the venue location, date of the event and trainer for our scheduled courses although this will be avoided where possible. You will be informed at the earliest opportunity if any changes are made and you will be provided with alternatives options. On the rare occasion that our trainer/coach becomes unwell we will make every effort to send a suitably qualified and experienced trainer as a replacement.
Cancellation and/or re-scheduling of any course will be avoided and will only take place once all other options have been considered. When this is unavoidable we will provide one on one coaching (where possible/applicable), alternative dates/locations, credit against another course or a full refund.
The trainer might ask you to leave the course if you are showing any health symptoms to protect others on the course and staff at the venue. An alternatively training date(s) and time(s) will be organised virtually or in-person to cover the areas missed on the course/programme.
